André Cavalcante: Brazilian Cinematic Fingerstyle Guitarist
André Cavalcante is a Brazilian music producer and guitarist known for his unique blend of cinematic fingerstyle, classical technique, and modern acoustic guitar innovation. His music combines expressive melodies, Brazilian and Latin rhythms, flamenco influences, and contemporary percussive techniques to create atmospheric instrumental performances that tell a story through sound. He began playing guitar at a young age and developed a distinctive style that goes beyond traditional fingerstyle by incorporating slapping, tapping, and rhythmic drumming on the guitar body to create rich musical textures. Through his original arrangements and emotional instrumental covers, he has built an international following of guitar enthusiasts and music lovers. He is also known for his creative use of the Pickaso Guitar Bow, a specialized tool that produces sustained, cello-like sounds on the acoustic guitar. Minnie Marks: Australian Roots and Blues Guitar Powerhouse
Minnie Marks is an Australian singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for her explosive blend of blues, roots, rock, and folk influences. Combining powerful vocals with dynamic guitar playing, she has earned international recognition as one of the most exciting performers in contemporary roots music. She began performing professionally at a young age and developed a reputation for her energetic stage presence and fearless musical approach. Her original compositions draw inspiration from traditional blues while incorporating modern sounds and personal storytelling. She has toured extensively throughout Australia, Europe, and North America, appearing at major festivals and venues. Her performances are celebrated for their intensity, authenticity, and emotional connection with audiences.
Niwel Tsumbu: African Fingerstyle and World Music Innovator
Niwel Tsumbu is a Congolese-born guitarist and composer known for his remarkable fusion of African rhythms, jazz, classical music, and contemporary world music. Raised in the rich musical traditions of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, he developed a distinctive fingerstyle technique that reflects both his African roots and his diverse international influences. He has performed with Rhiannon Giddens and The Silk Road Ensemble, building a reputation as one of the most inventive guitarists in contemporary world music. His compositions blend intricate melodies, rhythmic complexity, and expressive improvisation to create a sound that is both sophisticated and deeply personal. He has appeared at major festivals and concert venues across Europe, Africa, and North America. In addition to performing, he is committed to educational and collaborative projects that foster cultural exchange through music.
Roxane Elfasci: French Classical Guitar Virtuoso
Roxane Elfasci is a French guitarist, arranger, and educator known for her refined interpretations of classical repertoire and her dedication to expanding the guitar’s artistic reach. She completed her studies at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris under the guidance of Jérémy Jouve and Gérard Abiton, earning degrees in musical performance, musicology, and pedagogy. In 2020, she signed with the independent label Cosmos Music and has since released several acclaimed recordings, including Hommage à Debussy, Poésie Française, and GLASS GAZE, which have received recognition from media outlets such as Radio France, the BBC, and Guitare Classique Magazine. She regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician at festivals throughout France and has appeared on France Musique’s Live Generation program. In addition to her performing career, she is a prolific transcriber, writer, and teacher, sharing her passion for classical guitar with audiences and students around the world.
